For fresh water builds, the food-contact polyethylene is appropriate for drinking water storage. For waste builds, the shell shrugs off holding-tank service. In both cases you print the drawing below, mark exactly where inlet, outlet, and vent should land, and Ronco spin-welds or threads each fitting per order at those marks; the on-page fitting planner walks you through the configuration.
The tank weighs 85 lb as shipped and carries about 208 lb of water when full, at 8.34 lb per gallon, so treat the mounting surface as a structure, not a shelf.
