Ronco Plastics RV49W - 25 Gallon Plastic RV Water Tank

Ronco's sheet lists the RV49W as the 49 W L.D., 25 gallons of fresh water in the light-duty potable series. W-series tanks are the drinking-water side of the catalog: FDA-compliant natural polyethylene, molded translucent so you can read the water level through the wall with a flashlight instead of trusting a sensor. Twenty-five gallons is a comfortable boondocking size for a couple, enough for several days of careful use.

Full, the tank holds about 208 pounds of water at 8.34 pounds per gallon, and fresh tanks often ride higher in the coach than waste tanks do, so verify the floor of the compartment can take it. The molding itself weighs about 66 pounds. If the footprint does not suit your bay, the neighboring sizes offer dimensioned alternatives: the RV50W runs long and low at 50 x 16 x 8 inches, the RV71W is a stockier 38 x 20 x 9, and the RV24W steps up to 30 gallons at 43 x 16 x 10.5.
