The MANWAY12 is a 12 inch threaded manway for Ronco tanks - an access opening large enough to get an arm and a tool inside, which is the difference between owning a tank you can maintain and owning a sealed box. Twelve inches admits a scrub brush on a pole, a wet vacuum hose, a float-switch assembly, or a hand positioning a fitting from the inside.
A manway earns its place slowly: the first year you never open it, and then a sender fails, or sediment builds, or a tank that held something once needs to hold something else, and the lid pays for itself in an afternoon. The threaded cover comes off with hand pressure and reseals the same way - no fasteners to corrode, no gasket to hunt down years later.
It is Ronco's own access hardware, matched to the moldings from their Tustin, California plant, in operation since 1974.
