Boat Tanks

Most tank replacements fail at the tape measure. The original went in before the deck did, and the hatch it has to pass through today is smaller than the tank is. This is where a catalog like Ronco's...

Thirty-two gallons sits in the gap most builds actually need - more than a weekend tank, less than a locker-eating cruiser tank - and the B258 fills it with a bare marine molding shipped entirely...

The number that tells you what the B329 is: 96 lb of polyethylene wrapped around 26 gallons. Most tanks this size ship at a third of that weight. All that extra material is wall - a heavy,...

Ninety pounds of shipping weight on a 32-gallon tank is a specification hiding in plain sight. The B331 is one of Ronco's heavy-section marine moldings - nearly three pounds of polyethylene per...

The B335 carries 28 gallons in a molding that weighs 82 lb empty - a wall-to-capacity ratio that puts it firmly in Ronco's heavy-service tier. Blanks like this get specified when the tank will live...

Ninety pounds of molding for 27 gallons of water - the B342 is built like a piece of the boat. This is Ronco's heavy-service approach applied to a mid-size blank: wall section thick enough to take...

The B347 holds 40 gallons in a 34.75 x 26 x 11 inch molding that ships at just 38 lb - a low, light, wide blank that installs like a much smaller tank and stores like a much bigger one. Eleven inches...

Ronco builds its 32-gallon marine blank two ways, and the B353 is the heavyweight: 105 lb of molded polyethylene, more than three pounds of tank per gallon of capacity. That ratio - the highest in...

The Ronco Plastics B380 is a wide, shallow 42 gallon platform: 40 x 26.75 x 10 inches, built for bilge floors and basement bays where height is capped at ten inches but floor area is generous. The...

The Ronco Plastics B412 closes out this run of the B-series with 18 gallons in a molding that ships at 79 lb, a strikingly heavy wall for the capacity. That mass makes it the 18 gallon tank for hard...

At 26 lb bare, the B429 is one of the easiest tanks in the series to actually install - 23 gallons of capacity in a shell light enough to hold overhead with one hand while you check clearances with...

The B443 keeps 42 gallons low: a 24 x 24 x 19 inch squat block that puts its center of gravity down where a boat wants it. On sailing vessels especially, a wide-based tank under the cabin sole beats...
