Norwesco Loaf Tanks
Norwesco loaf tanks are low, rectangular polyethylene tanks with a rounded, loaf-like top. They range from 50 gallons up to 1,050 gallons. Their flat bottom and low height let them sit steady in a truck bed, on a trailer or on a skid. Most are white, and the 100, 200 and 500 gallon sizes also come in black.

- Portable water in a pickup, UTV or trailer
- Spray tanks for weed control and small farm jobs

- Low tanks for tight spaces where a vertical tank won't fit
Sizes and features
Sizes are 50, 100, 200, 300, 500 and 1,050 gallons. The 50, 100 and 200 gallon tanks each come in two footprints: the 50 and 100 gallon tanks at 20 or 27 inches wide, and the 200 gallon tank at 36 or 40 inches wide. Loaf tanks come with an 8 inch threaded lid and no outlet fitting. The tanks are rated to 1.5 specific gravity. Check each product's specifications for the exact length, width and height.
Before you order
- Plan the outlet. These tanks don't come with an outlet fitting. Call us if you need one added, or see Norwesco Accessories for bulkhead fittings.
- Check your weight. Water weighs about 8.3 lbs per gallon, so a full 500 gallon tank carries over 4,000 lbs of water. Make sure your truck or trailer is rated for the full load.
- Support the bottom. Set the tank on a flat surface that supports the whole base, and strap it down before you drive.
- Not for fuel. Don't use these tanks for gasoline, diesel or any other fuel.

Can I haul drinking water?
The tanks are molded from FDA-compliant polyethylene. Check the Certifications line on each tank if you need NSF 61.
Loaf tank or flat bottom utility tank?
