At 19 lb it carries meaningfully more polyethylene than the standard blank in this size, and that extra wall is what stands between a waste tank and a stress crack when the tank lives close to the axles on a rig that sees forest roads and frost heaves.
Waste duty is absolute here: gray or black water, nothing potable, no exceptions. Filled, the tank holds about 125 lb of contents, and a heavier-walled tank flexes less under that moving load - which is also why fittings on a stiff molding seal better over years of cycles.
