That material ratio is the spec to notice: heavy walls resist the flex-and-fatigue cycle that kills waste tanks mounted near axles, and they hold fitting seals tight over years of vibration.
Seventeen gallons is a quietly useful size - past the weekend-only class, short of the big-rig footprints. Full, the 2H carries about 142 lb of gray or black water, and waste is its only legal cargo; the H series makes no potable claims and never should be plumbed to fresh supply.
Its neighbors: the 94H, the other 17-gallon blank, in a lighter build, and one step up the 12H with 18 gallons in a deep 22 x 23 x 12.5 inch cube. Every size from 7 to 50 gallons lives in the RV holding tanks category.

This holding tank ships with its outlet molded in, ready to plumb. Add the Ronco 3-inch uniseal (F3UNISEAL), a loose pipe-to-tank seal you press into the outlet yourself, with no threads or nuts.
