Twenty-six pounds of polyethylene for 17 gallons of capacity makes the 2H one of the stoutest builds in Ronco's mid-size holding range. That material ratio is the spec to notice: heavy walls resist the flex-and-fatigue cycle that kills waste tanks mounted near axles, and they hold fitting seals tight over years of vibration.
Seventeen gallons is a quietly useful size - past the weekend-only class, short of the big-rig footprints. Full, the 2H carries about 142 lb of gray or black water, and waste is its only legal cargo; the H series makes no potable claims and never should be plumbed to fresh supply.
Its neighbors: the 94H, the other 17-gallon blank, in a lighter build, and one step up the 12H with 18 gallons in a deep 22 x 23 x 12.5 inch cube. Every size from 7 to 50 gallons lives in the RV holding tanks category.
The 2H is rotomolded in Tustin, California - Ronco's home since 1974 - and ships with fittings installed exactly where you specify: print the drawing below, mark your fitting locations, and pick spin-weld or threaded on the order. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
