The 28H solves a packaging problem: 53 inches long but only 11.25 wide, it slips into the narrow chase between frame members where a conventional holding tank simply will not go. Depth is a whisker over 12 inches, capacity is 22 gallons, and the blank weighs about 24 pounds. Coaches that route their waste tank along the frame instead of across it are the natural home for this shape.
Like every H-series molding it is a gray and black water tank with no potable rating. Full load is about 183 pounds, 22 gallons at 8.34 pounds per gallon, strung out over a four-and-a-half-foot length, so give it support along the span. If your chase is even longer, the 33H runs 83 x 13.5 x 10 inches; if it is a normal rectangle, the 10H at 34 x 22 x 12 is the family's standard box.
Ronco Plastics builds these in Tustin, California, where they have rotomolded since 1974, and installs your fittings, spin-weld or threaded, at order time. On a long narrow tank the outlet position is the difference between a clean drain and a standing puddle, so print the drawing below, mark your fitting locations carefully, and Ronco molds to your sheet. Everything else in the line is at RV holding tanks and the Ronco hub. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
