The 87H is the heavy-wall option in Ronco's five-shape 45-gallon holding bench: 41 lb of polyethylene before any waste goes in, the most material of the group. For a tank that will spend its life strapped under a coach with roughly 375 lb of gray or black water working against every pothole, that extra shell is cheap insurance.
All five 45-gallon shapes hold the same load; they differ in outline and build. Compare against the 83H, the 105H, the lighter 75H, and - if your plumbing is actually fresh-side - the 45-gallon RV47W water tank at 36 x 23 x 13 inches, which is a different resin under different rules. Print it, verify it against your bay, then mark drain, vent, and inlet locations on the sheet: Ronco molds the tank blank in Tustin, California and installs your fittings per order, spin-welded or threaded to the marks - the same build-to-order process the shop has run since 1974. Gray and black water only, no potable claims.
