Boat Tanks

Look at the ratio on the B420 before anything else: 27 gallons of capacity carried in an 89 lb molding. That is a lot of polyethylene per gallon, and it is the point - this is the workboat-grade end...

Seventy-five gallons is expedition capacity - the 61W at 54 x 22 x 16 inches is the tank for rigs that measure trips in weeks. Four and a half feet long and 16 inches tall, it fills the long bay of a...

Seventy gallons puts the Ronco Plastics B153 at the top of Ronco's marine fresh water range - liveaboard and long-passage territory, where water capacity is measured in days of autonomy rather than...

The Ronco Plastics B154 is the second of Ronco's 70 gallon marine fresh water moldings, and the existence of a second one is the point: at maximum capacity, compartment shape is the constraint, so...

The Ronco Plastics B289 gives a cruising boat 65 gallons of fresh water in a molding that keeps its own weight down to 52 lb - a genuinely light shell for the capacity, and a real difference when you...

Replacing a corroded metal water tank is the classic reason a 44 gallon molding like the B414 gets ordered. Steel and aluminum tanks pit and seep from the inside out; a rotomolded polyethylene shell...

Trawler tankage: the B440 is a 44 gallon molding with a heavy 111 lb shell, the kind of tank you install once, glass a shelf under, and forget for a decade. Displacement cruisers and liveaboards load...

The 26W is what balance looks like in polyethylene: 31 gallons in a 31 x 23 x 11.5 inch slab - not the longest, not the flattest, just proportioned so that one tank handles the water for a mid-size...

The 2W solves the most common tank problem there is: a bay that is long enough but not tall enough. At 37.5 x 19 x 12 inches it keeps 35 gallons under a foot of height, sliding beneath dinette seats...

The 52W is the middle plank: 60 x 16 x 8 inches, 28 gallons. Five feet of tank, eight inches of height. It shares its 16 inch wide, 8 inch tall cross-section with the shorter and longer tanks on...

The Ronco Plastics B508 closes out this run of the B-series with 60 gallons in a 48 x 25 x 13 inch profile, a big-capacity tank that still ducks under a bunk. Thirteen inches of height is the...

Sixty gallons laid out 55 inches long, 20 wide, and 14 tall: the B543 is shaped like a chassis rail run because that is where it usually lives. RV underfloors, the tunnel beside a boat's engine bed,...
