Boat Tanks

Thirteen gallons is the capacity nobody brags about and everybody actually uses. The B102 is a compact marine water tank with an unusually serious build: 27 lb empty, a heavy wall for its size,...

A tank catalog with a 16 and an 18 needs a 17, because hulls do not round. The B123 is the 17-gallon marine water tank for the locker that measured out between the standard sizes - a 25 lb blank in...

The B125 splits the difference in Ronco's crowded 16-gallon marine family: 32 lb empty, a wall solidly heavier than the light blanks without going to the full armored build. It is the tank for the...

Thirteen gallons is a tank for the boat you actually own, not the boat in the brochure. Small cruisers and pocket powerboats have water systems measured in sinks, not showers, and the B218 feeds one...

At 20.75 x 17.75 x 13.75 inches, the B227 is barely bigger than a milk shipment - and it holds 20 gallons. That compactness is a genuine trick: most 20 gallon moldings buy their volume with length,...

Fourteen and a half inches wide is the number that gets the B231 into boats and vans that reject wider tanks. At 28.25 x 14.5 x 11.5 inches it is a slim 20 gallon molding drawn for the corridor...

Ten gallons is the sweet spot for a small boat's fresh water system - enough for a galley sink and a transom shower without commandeering a whole locker - and the Ronco Plastics B290 delivers it in a...

The B450 is the slim sibling in Ronco's long-tank family: 23 gallons at 44.5 x 12.5 x 11.5 inches, a cross-section barely a foot square stretched to nearly four feet. When the only unclaimed space...

The smallest tank in this group is also the easiest to say yes to: the Ronco Plastics B495 holds 10 gallons, weighs 17 lb, and tucks into voids most builders write off entirely, the nose of a cuddy,...

Nineteen gallons stretched long and lean: the Ronco Plastics B501 is a heavy-walled 76 lb molding whose slender proportions follow a hull side or frame rail instead of demanding a square hole in your...

The Ronco Plastics B504 is one of the flattest tanks in the marine B-series: 18 gallons in a low, broad molding that vanishes under a v-berth or cockpit sole. At 29 lb, it goes in with one set of...

The B510 is close to a cube: 42 gallons in a 24 x 22 x 20 inch block. That proportion is the whole argument for it. A near-cubic tank puts the most volume behind the least surface area, so the walls...
