Molded from 100% impact-resistant polyethylene, the post flexes on contact and springs back rather than shattering, standing up to repeated vehicle strikes in active traffic. Built-in UV inhibitors resist fading to keep the blue post and collars visible through long outdoor service. The design meets MUTCD standards for traffic control devices.
