The 41H is built around its outlet: a 12-gallon holding tank with a side dump, meaning the waste valve exits the sidewall rather than the bottom. On rigs where there is no clearance below the tank for a bottom drain - or where the dump plumbing has to run horizontally to reach the outlet bay - a side-dump molding saves you from elbows and traps that clog.
The footprint is nearly square: 28 x 24 x 9.5 inches, 17 lb empty, about 100 lb full. That squat, wide stance keeps the liquid surface broad and shallow, which reduces slosh impact when a partly full tank is on the road. Gray or black water only; this molding makes no potable claims and never should.
Ronco carries the side-dump idea up the size range from its Tustin, California plant, running since 1974: the 6H is a 27-gallon side dump at 38 x 27 x 9 inches, and the 61H a 42-gallon side dump at 45 x 24.5 x 12 inches.
