Ronco Plastics RV14W - 12 Gallon Plastic RV Water Tank (24.0" x 15.5" x 8.25")

Under a bunk, under a dinette seat, under the floor of a van - the RV14W is the tank you slide beneath things. Its 12 gallons ride in a 24 x 15.5 x 8.25 inch slab, low enough to disappear under a cushion frame while keeping a wide, stable base that does not need elaborate cradling.

Ronco's sheet lists it as light-duty, which is the potable designation: FDA-compliant natural polyethylene, molded translucent so a glance at the sidewall tells you how much water is left. At 8 lb empty it installs one-handed; at about 100 lb full (figure 8.34 lb per gallon of water) it stays put, but anchor it anyway - a loose water tank in a moving vehicle is a battering ram.

The 12-gallon size comes in two other personalities: the RV16W is a compact 18 x 13 x 13 inch cube for lockers, while the narrow RV23W runs 11 gallons at 30.25 x 10 x 9 inches for rail channels. The rest of the potable line is in the RV water tanks category.
