The 98H is the heavy one. Where its 25 gallon siblings blank out around the mid-twenties of pounds, this molding weighs in near 40, and in rotomolding, extra weight is extra wall. Thicker sections shrug off road vibration, point loads from careless jack placement, and the slow abrasion of a tank shifting in its cradle for a decade. If the coach lives on washboard roads or the last tank died by cracking, buy the material.
Nothing else changes: 25 gallons of gray or black water capacity, no potable service, and about 208 pounds when full at 8.34 pounds per gallon. The lighter alternatives are a click away if weight matters more than wall: the 95H is the featherweight of the family, the 31H is the middle path, and the 25H rounds out the undimensioned shapes.
Like everything Ronco Plastics has rotomolded in Tustin, California since 1974, the 98H ships with fittings installed to order, spin-welded or threaded at the exact locations you mark. Print the drawing lower on this page, draw your inlet, outlet, and vent where the old tank had them, and that sheet becomes the build. Browse the family at RV holding tanks. OneSource Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
