It is a light-duty potable tank for RV service, shipping at about 37 pounds, which puts it among the easier tanks in this family to handle solo during installation.
Like every Ronco fresh water tank, it is molded from natural FDA-compliant polyethylene. The uncolored resin leaves the wall translucent, so checking your remaining water is as simple as looking at the tank, and the rotationally molded one-piece construction means the shell has no seams or bonded joints to develop leaks.

Want to place the fittings yourself? Choose the blank tank: it ships with no fittings at no charge. Add the 90-2218 fitting kit ($55.75). It includes an access plate with six stainless steel screws, washers and nuts to mount it, a 1-1/2" NPT plug, two 1/2" NPT plugs, two 5/8" thru-hull fittings for supply and vent, and one 1-1/2" thru-hull fitting for fill.
