The mistake to avoid

This is an open-top, gravity-fill vessel with a lift-off 4" lid, not a sealed or pressurized tank. Do not use it for closed-loop, pressurized, or hot-fill service, and keep the contents at or below the 120 F ceiling. Because the top is open, plan for a stable, level surface and headspace clearance so the lid seats fully. This model carries no published specific-gravity rating; it is intended for water and water-based fluids at or below 120 F, so confirm suitability before storing anything denser or chemically aggressive. Note also that the tank arrives with no plumbed penetrations, an open top with a lift-off lid, so any outlet or fitting is something you would add and seal yourself.
