Part number 60325 is a single steel support band for Norwesco's 1035 gallon tank. The tank takes three, and the band is sold one at a time, so order a quantity of three for a full set. Each band is yellow painted steel, 83 inches long, 48 inches tall and 2 inches wide, and weighs 20 lb. A support band is what keeps a horizontal tank on its mount when it is moving: it wraps over the tank and anchors to the deck or frame underneath so the tank cannot lift, shift or roll under braking, cornering or slosh.

What to check before you buy
- The tank. This band is formed for the 1035 gallon tank. Bands are not interchangeable between sizes; one that is close leaves a gap on top or will not reach the mount. Confirm the tank part number with us if you are unsure.
- The count. Three per tank. A partial set puts the whole load on too few bands.
- The mount. The band ends anchor to the deck, skid or trailer frame. That hardware is part of the mount, not the band.
- Drawing. Norwesco's drawing for the band, linked under Technical Drawing on this page, gives the profile and the end dimensions for laying out the anchor points.
Fitting the bands
Place the tank first, mark the band positions from the drawing, then drill. Bring all three bands up evenly so the tank is held round rather than pinched at one point. Do not crank them down on an empty tank: polyethylene swells a little when it is full and warm, and a band that was tight at dawn can be overtight by afternoon. Re-check the bands after the first full load and at the start of each season.
