A 50 gallon low rectangular tank with a 1 inch fitting already in it
The Norwesco 50 Rectangular-B, part number 45880, is a white polyethylene tank 41 inches long, 26 inches wide and 15 inches tall, weighing 37 lb empty. The low, flat shape is the point: it slides under a bench, into a truck bed or onto a cart where a round tank will not go. It comes with a 1 inch fitting installed and a 16 inch lid on top. The tank is rated for liquids up to 1.5 specific gravity, which covers water, most liquid fertilizers and many common chemicals; 50 gallons of water weighs 417 lb. The resin is FDA compliant, the service limit is 120 F, and the white wall lets you see the level from outside.

Where it goes
Sprayer supply on a utility vehicle, rinse water on a service truck, a holding tank under a counter, a nurse tank for a small plot. At 15 inches tall it keeps the centre of gravity low, which matters on anything that moves. Full it weighs about 417 lb with water, and it wants a flat, continuous surface under the whole base rather than two rails. Openings and fittings
- Outlet. A 1 inch fitting, factory installed. Your valve or hose adapter goes on it; support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware. If 1 inch is too slow for the job, our fitting and outlet sizing decision tree shows what a larger outlet changes.
- Lid. 16 inches, wide enough to fill from a hose, drop a pump intake in, and get a hand inside to clean.
- Liquid. Up to 1.5 times the weight of water. Heavier liquids need a tank rated for them. Check anything other than water against the material before it goes in.
