What it is and what it fits
A double-threaded fitting takes a threaded connection on both sides, and the bolted design clamps to the tank wall with the included EPDM gasket as the sealing element. At roughly a 2-inch diameter footprint and about 6 lb, it is compact hardware sized for a matching 2-inch tank penetration.
Material note
The 316 stainless body resists corrosion and outdoor exposure better than plated or painted hardware, holding up on tank-wall service where the fitting is exposed to weather. The EPDM gasket is the named sealing element supplied with the fitting.
