There are two ways to make a 24-gallon tank: mold a container, or mold a component. The B114 is the component - 106 lb of polyethylene before any water goes in, one of the thickest-walled mid-size marine blanks Ronco pours. It is meant for the installation you never want to revisit: glassed-in bays, tankage under permanent furniture, boats that earn their keep.
In fresh service the material is FDA-compliant and potable-rated; specify waste fittings instead and it becomes a holding tank with the same armored wall. The water itself adds about 200 lb at 8.34 lb per gallon, so blank and water together put roughly a sixth of a ton in the bay - frame accordingly, and put the tank on structure, never on paneling.
Weight like this deserves a shipping quote up front via the freight cost estimator. Lighter and larger alternatives are in boat tanks; everything Ronco makes is on the Ronco Plastics hub. One Source Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
Fittings
This tank has a molded shape (see the drawing), so it is sold as a blank tank with no fittings installed. Add the Ronco 3-inch uniseal (F3UNISEAL), a loose pipe-to-tank seal you install yourself, if you need a sealed pipe connection.
