The B116 is the big tank that does not weigh like one: 35 gallons of marine fresh water capacity in a blank of just 33 lb. That ratio - nearly a gallon of capacity per pound of tank - makes it the pick when the boat needs maximum water and minimum standing weight, sailboats especially, where every empty pound aloft of the ballast is paid for twice.
Molded seamless in FDA-compliant polyethylene, it is potable-spec through and through, and the same blank accepts waste fittings if a large holding tank is what the layout calls for. Full, it carries about 292 lb at 8.34 lb per gallon - so while the empty tank moves easily, the installed tank needs a floor that bears the whole footprint and straps that assume a seaway.

Fittings
This tank has a molded shape (see the drawing), so it is sold as a blank tank with no fittings installed. Add the Ronco 3-inch uniseal (F3UNISEAL), a loose pipe-to-tank seal you install yourself, if you need a sealed pipe connection.
