At a 26 lb shipping weight, the Ronco Plastics B463 is a 22 gallon marine tank you can carry down a dock ladder under one arm. That low mass is the whole rotomolded-polyethylene argument: a one-piece shell with enough wall to hold its shape, without the heft or corrosion worries of metal.
The B463 belongs to Ronco's dual-role B-series, which means the bare molding commits to nothing. Order it with fresh water fittings and the FDA-grade polyethylene stores drinking water; order it with waste fittings and it becomes a gray or black holding tank. One tool, two trades.
Remember the working load is very different from the carry weight: 22 gallons of water runs about 183 lb at 8.34 lb per gallon.
Molded in Tustin, California by Ronco Plastics, in business since 1974. If your build calls for a committed waste tank instead, the 22 gallon holding tank is the sibling to look at; the wider marine tank collection and Ronco hub cover everything else. Fittings
This tank has a molded shape (see the drawing), so it is sold as a blank tank with no fittings installed. Add the Ronco 3-inch uniseal (F3UNISEAL), a loose pipe-to-tank seal you install yourself, if you need a sealed pipe connection.
