The Ronco Plastics B489 pairs a 37 gallon capacity with a deliberately heavy 92 lb molding, placing it among the thickest-walled mid-size tanks in the B-series. Where lighter tanks are fine for cradled, padded installs, this one tolerates harder mounting, rougher water, and longer service.
Role remains a menu choice, because this is a dual-role shell: fresh water fittings deliver a potable tank in food-contact polyethylene, waste fittings deliver a gray or black holding tank with the same stout wall.
Budget structure for about 309 lb of water at 8.34 lb per gallon, plus the tank.
Molded in Tustin, California by Ronco Plastics, at work since 1974. The 37 gallon holding tank is the dedicated-waste comparison, the boat tank collection shows lighter alternatives, and the freight cost estimator quotes your lane. One Source Plastics is an authorized Ronco Plastics dealer.
Fittings
This tank has a molded shape (see the drawing), so it is sold as a blank tank with no fittings installed. Add the Ronco 3-inch uniseal (F3UNISEAL), a loose pipe-to-tank seal you install yourself, if you need a sealed pipe connection.
