Unlike a threaded bulkhead that seats against a single wall, this is a bolted double-flange design: the two flanges clamp the tank wall between them, compressing the gasket to form the seal. It measures 9.5 by 9.5 inches across the flange face, stands about 5 inches, and weighs roughly 5 pounds.

Use it wherever a Snyder tank calls for a 4-inch bolted outlet or wall penetration. Set both flanges over the wall opening, seat the EPDM gasket, and draw the bolts down evenly so the gasket compresses uniformly around the full circumference.
