Part number 1760001N97601 is Snyder's 48 inch stand with 18 inches of clearance, moulded in polyethylene. A cone bottom tank has no flat base, so it needs a stand that cradles the cone and lifts the outlet high enough to get a valve, a hose or a drum underneath. This one is moulded poly rather than welded steel: lighter to handle, nothing to rust in a wet or chemical area, and 48 inches square at the floor. What to check before you buy
- The tank. Snyder pairs each cone bottom tank with a specific stand. Tell us the tank part number and we confirm this is its stand before the order ships; the tank's own page lists its stand as well.
- The clearance. With the tank in it, the cone outlet sits 18 inches up. That decides what fits underneath: a valve and a hose, a small pump inlet, a bucket. A full drum does not. Measure that equipment before the order, not after.
- The floor. The stand needs a flat, level, continuous 48 inch square with no drain, joint or slope under it. A poly stand on a floor that falls toward a drain carries the tank unevenly.
- Anchoring. No anchor hardware comes with it. If your site needs the tank restrained, that hardware and the pad design are yours.

Setting it up
Put the stand in its final position first and check it with a level across both diagonals. Set the empty tank in it and turn the tank so the outlet points where the pipe will run. Fit the outlet valve before the first fill, and fill with water the first time so any problem shows up with something harmless in the tank. A full cone bottom tank is a concentrated load; your installer, not this page, confirms the floor can carry it.
