The 6 Inch Double Flanged Fitting is a bolted CPVC flanged connection for large-diameter tank ports, built by Snyder Industries. It joins two matching flanges through the tank wall, sealing on an EPDM gasket and clamped by a ring of stainless-steel encapsulated bolts. It carries the nominal 6-inch size and weighs about 5 lb, keeping the hardware light while the flange faces do the sealing work.
What it fits and how it installs
This is a double-flange bolted design, not a threaded bulkhead. It mounts to a pre-cut 6-inch port on the tank wall, with one flange inside and one outside, drawn together by the encapsulated bolts. Those bolts are encapsulated so the metal never contacts the fluid path, and the EPDM gasket makes the wall seal. Match the 6-inch port and flange bolt pattern on your tank before ordering; flanged fittings are sized to the opening and are not interchangeable across bore diameters.
Material note
The fitting is molded in CPVC, a rigid, dimensionally stable material. Torque the bolt ring evenly in a cross pattern so the gasket compresses flat.
