- The hardware. Nothing beyond the two hoops is listed with this package. If your installation needs brackets, anchors or straps, those are separate; tell us what you are tying the tank to and we can advise.
- The finish. These are painted steel. Indoors or under cover they last; outdoors in a wet or chemical area, ask us about Snyder's stainless hoop packages instead.
Fitting them
Fit hoops to an empty tank, positioned at the heights the drawing shows, and snug them so they sit flat against the wall without crushing it. A poly tank grows slightly when it is full and warm, so a hoop that is drum tight when empty is too tight. Check them again after the first fill and after the first hot afternoon, then once a season. Touch up any chipped paint before it rusts, and never use a hoop as a lifting point for a tank with liquid in it.
