- The tank. These hoops are made for Snyder's 525 gallon tank, and a hoop only works when it matches the tank circumference. Tell us the tank part number and we confirm the match before the order ships.
- The count. Two hoops in the package. Where they sit on the tank and how they are fixed is on Snyder's drawing, linked on this page under Technical Drawing.
- The hardware. Nothing beyond the two hoops is listed with this package. If your installation needs brackets, anchors or straps, those are separate; tell us what you are tying the tank to and we can advise.
- The environment. Stainless steel suits wet, outdoor and chemical areas. If the tank holds something that attacks stainless, check it in our chemical compatibility guide and ask us.
Fitting them
Fit hoops to an empty tank, positioned at the heights the drawing shows, and snug them so they sit flat against the wall without crushing it. A poly tank grows slightly when it is full and warm, so a hoop that is drum tight when empty is too tight. Check them again after the first fill and after the first hot afternoon, then once a season. Never use a hoop as a lifting point for a tank with liquid in it.

The package ships by UPS from Snyder's plant in Lincoln, Nebraska or Philippi, West Virginia; Snyder lists the ship weight at 150 lb, so confirm the carton count and weight with us if you are receiving at a site without a dock.
