What it fits and how it installs
This Snyder Industries fitting is sized for a 1-inch bulkhead penetration. It seats in a drilled wall port, with the EPDM gasket compressed against the tank surface to hold the seal as the retaining nut is drawn up. The socket end accepts glued PVC pipe; the threaded end takes a mating threaded connection. Match the hole to the fitting body and keep the gasket seated flat during tightening so the seal draws evenly.
Material note
PVC with an EPDM gasket is a standard water-service trim combination. The black PVC body resists weathering at an exterior port, and the molded socket and thread hold their dimensions for repeatable pipe and fitting connections.
