The RV71W and its sibling the RV50W hold the same fresh water two different ways, and choosing between them is pure geometry. This tank is the compact one: 38 x 20 x 9 inches, a foot shorter than the RV50W and four inches wider, standing an inch taller. It is a potable tank, light-duty W series, molded from FDA-compliant natural polyethylene, translucent enough to read the fill level through the wall. Empty it weighs about 66 pounds; full it is roughly 217 pounds at 8.34 pounds per gallon, a load your compartment floor should carry without flexing.
