Why the stand has to match the cone
Cone angles are not interchangeable. A 30 degree cone and a 45 degree cone of the same size sit at different heights and meet the stand at different places, so a stand built for one will not carry the other correctly. That is why this stand is named for Snyder's 30 degree cones and a gallon range. A gallon range is not a part number, though. - Room under the cone. Plan the valve, the hose or pipe, a pump inlet and room for a person to work with a wrench under the outlet.
