Boat Tanks

Sixteen gallons is a curious, useful size - more than a day tank, less than a full cruising supply, exactly right as the second tank that balances a boat or the first tank of a minimalist camper...

The B436 is the workboat take on a small tank: 13 gallons in a shell that ships at 71 lb, meaning most of what you are buying is wall. Small tanks on hard-used boats fail at the fitting bosses when...

The B451 is the heavier of Ronco's two 19 gallon marine shells, shipping at 82 lb bare - a wall-thickness statement aimed at workboats, rental fleets, and charter boats where the tank gets used hard...

The Ronco Plastics B493 is the heavyweight of the 25 gallon class: a long, low molding carrying 106 lb of polyethylene, which is more tank mass than some tanks twice its capacity. That wall thickness...

The Ronco Plastics B496 is the light-and-simple take on 25 gallons: a 33 lb rotomolded polyethylene shell that one person lifts, positions, and installs without drama. For cradled, well-supported...

The B527 is a shallow 18-gallon tray of a tank - just over 34 inches long, roughly 15 inches wide, and only 9.5 inches deep. That last number is the reason it exists. Under a V-berth, under a cockpit...

First in the catalog, and shaped like a workhorse: the 1W holds 35 gallons in a 32.12 x 19.5 x 15 inch block. These are the proportions of a tank that was never trying to hide - it wants a dedicated...

The B128 is a tube with corners: 34 x 12 x 12 inches, a foot-square section stretched nearly three feet long, carrying 22 gallons down spaces where nothing wider will pass. Keel lines, frame-rail...

Refits are where the Ronco Plastics B149 earns its keep. When a 30-year-old aluminum water tank finally pinholes, the replacement has to thread through an existing hatch and land in a compartment...

The Ronco Plastics B151 is a 21 gallon marine fresh water tank with a shape of its own in the Ronco catalog - one more answer to the eternal refit question of which molding matches the compartment...

Twenty gallons of fresh water, molded to a footprint the rest of the Ronco line does not repeat - that is the Ronco Plastics B152's whole job. Boat compartments are leftovers, shaped by hull...
