Boat Tanks

There are two ways to make a 24-gallon tank: mold a container, or mold a component. The B114 is the component - 106 lb of polyethylene before any water goes in, one of the thickest-walled mid-size...

The B116 is the big tank that does not weigh like one: 35 gallons of marine fresh water capacity in a blank of just 33 lb. That ratio - nearly a gallon of capacity per pound of tank - makes it the...

The B126 is a 24-gallon marine water tank built on the heavy pattern: 94 lb of polyethylene before the first gallon goes in. Ronco pours this much wall into a mid-size blank for one kind of customer...

Twenty-six gallons is an honest mid-size for a cruising sailboat or a trailer boat that spends whole days out: enough fresh water to stop counting cups, small enough that the boat does not notice the...

Thirty gallons, 36 lb on the shipping scale: the Ronco Plastics B179 is the fresh water tank for crews who want cruising capacity without a two-person install. Thirty gallons runs a boat's galley and...

The B189 is one molding with two careers. Ronco lists it as a 30 gallon marine water or waste holding tank, and the "or" is literal: the blank shell leaves Tustin with no fittings at all, and what...

The B207 is a 22 gallon marine fresh water tank that ships at 30 lb, and the ratio between those two numbers is why polyethylene won the tankage argument. You get a genuinely useful cruising supply -...

The B225 is a 22.5 x 22.5 inch square, 12 inches deep, holding 25 gallons - a footprint with no long axis, which is rarer and more useful than it sounds. Corner voids, square hatched compartments,...

The B250 is nearly square in plan - 23.5 x 23 x 12 inches - which makes it the tank for the bay that is wide and short rather than long and narrow. Twenty-five gallons ride in a footprint under two...

The Ronco Plastics B281 packs 21 gallons into a near-cube - 19.88" x 16.88" x 16.38" - which is the most efficient way to get real capacity through a small locker opening. Cubes waste the least wall...

Shaped like a beam and installed like one: the Ronco Plastics B316 is a 69" x 11" x 11" square-section tube of a tank that lays 32 gallons along a keel line, a frame rail, or the dead corridor beside...

The B332 is the light-and-simple way to put 26 gallons of water aboard. At 28 lb empty it is a one-person install - up a companionway, through a locker hatch, into position without rigging a lifting...
