Design
- Polyethylene shell — corrosion-immune to diesel, biodiesel, waste-oil, and lubricant service
- NOT rated for gasoline, kerosene, jet-A, or other UEL/LEL-regulated fuels under most jurisdictions
- Atmospheric (non-pressurized) service only — vent must be installed per local fire-code requirements
- Above-ground service only unless explicitly UL-listed for underground fuel storage
- Top-centerline fill port; bottom or side outlet for gravity drain to pump or filtration assembly
Installation
Install on a level concrete pad with secondary containment sized for the full tank volume per EPA SPCC requirements where applicable (100-gallon tanks in commercial service typically trigger SPCC if total facility above-ground storage exceeds 1,320 gallons). Install a vent appropriate to the fuel service per NFPA 30, a low-permeability emergency vent for fire exposure, and a fuel-grade overfill-prevention valve at the fill port.
