The mistake to avoid
The most common error on a cone bottom chem tank this size is bolting the as-shipped 3" PP bulkhead onto an aggressive oxidizer or a DEF line and assuming it will hold. That standard PP fitting is fine for the EPDM-gasket chemistries above, but hydrochloric, sulfuric, and hydrogen peroxide service require Viton or CPVC trim, sodium hypochlorite and hydrofluoric acid need Viton, peracetic acid needs 316SS with Aflas, and DEF needs 316SS with EPDM.
