Norwesco's 15 degree stand for 1020 to 3000 gallon cone bottom tanks
Part number 64090 is Norwesco's steel stand for its 15 degree cone bottom tanks from 1020 to 3000 gallons. A cone bottom tank has no flat base, so it needs a stand that cradles the cone at the right angle and lifts the outlet clear of the floor. A 15 degree cone is the shallow one, so the stand is wide and low: a welded steel frame 90 inches square at the floor and 25 inches tall, weighing 380 lb. What to check before you buy
- The cone angle. 15 degrees. It is on the tank's page and on its drawing.

- The slab. The stand needs a flat, level, continuous 90 inch square with no drain, joint or slope under it, designed for the full weight of the tank, which at the top of this range is many tons on four feet. Our guide to concrete pad sizing for above ground polyethylene tanks covers the pad.
- The height. The frame is 25 inches tall, which sets the room under the cone outlet for a valve and pipe. A pump or a drum under the outlet needs more height than a 15 degree stand gives; measure that equipment before the order, not after.
- Anchoring. No anchor hardware comes with the stand. If your site needs it bolted down, that hardware and the pad design are yours.

Setting it up
Put the stand in its final position and check it with a level across both diagonals. Set the empty tank in it and turn it so the outlet points where the pipe will run. Fit the outlet valve before the first fill, and fill with water the first time. Your engineer, not this page, decides what the slab has to carry.
