The Norwesco 7500 Gallon Plastic Containment Tray is a molded polyethylene basin that serves as secondary containment beneath a stored tank, capturing incidental drips, overflow, or a release from the vessel set inside it. It is not a storage tank itself - it is the containment your tank stands in. The basin is molded in natural polyethylene from an FDA-approved resin, measures 144 inches in diameter and 110 inches tall, and weighs roughly 1,500 lb empty.
How it installs
Set the basin on a level, engineered pad and place the tank inside the open basin. The wall height provides the volume to hold a spill until it can be pumped out, and the natural, translucent-toned resin makes pooled liquid easier to spot during inspection.
Material and service notes
Polyethylene resists the corrosion and outdoor exposure that eat painted or galvanized steel, and the basin is rated to a maximum service temperature of 120 F / 48 C. Pair it with a properly sized concrete pad for the loaded tank.
