The Norwesco Bolt Down Hoop (1) Each for 425/525/725/1025 Gallon Horizontal Leg Tanks (MPN N-60057) is a horizontal polyethylene transport and storage tank with integrally molded leg supports — no separate cradle, weld-on saddle, or steel stand required.

Design

  • End-fitting outlet provides gravity drain or pump-suction connection
  • One-piece rotomolded shell — no leg-to-tank welded joint to fatigue under transport vibration
  • UV-stabilized polyethylene rated for direct outdoor and transport-environment exposure
  • Integrally molded plastic legs — no separate steel stand, no weld-on saddle, no field assembly
  • Saddles on a flatbed truck or trailer without rolling; secure with ratchet straps through molded tie-down points

Installation

Set directly on a level concrete pad, treated-wood platform, or flatbed truck/trailer surface. The molded plastic legs handle the distributed load without supplementary supports. For mobile service, secure with ratchet straps through the molded tie-down points — do NOT cross-strap over the tank shell (point-loading through the tie-down corners is the rated load path).

Common applications

  • Agricultural spray-applicator water and chemistry transport
  • Construction-site water hauling for dust suppression and concrete batch
  • Disaster-response and emergency potable-water transport for utility and relief operations
  • Remote-site fuel hauling for fleet refueling at mining, logging, and construction operations
  • Livestock water hauling for range and pasture operations
  • Fire-protection auxiliary supply transport for wildland and rural fire response

Compatibility & compliance

Polyethylene shell construction meets ASTM D1998 for atmospheric service. For DOT-regulated transport of hazardous liquids, verify the specific tank carries the applicable DOT or 49 CFR-compliant certification — most rotomolded polyethylene leg tanks are NOT DOT-rated for hazmat transport and are limited to non-regulated water and aqueous-chemistry service.

Shipping

Ships LTL freight from the nearest manufacturing plant. ZIP-specific freight quotes are available through the freight estimator or by phoning 866-418-1777 with MPN N-60057.
