- Above or below ground. Septic and underground tanks are not for above-ground use.
- Stands and bands. Cone bottom tanks need a stand, and leg tanks 725 gallons and up require bands.
- Not for fuel. Don't use these tanks for gasoline, diesel or any other fuel.

Vertical water tanks are black or green. Standard storage tanks are white, and heavy duty tanks are mostly light blue.
Can small tanks ship UPS?
Some can. Many small Norwesco tanks may ship UPS from Sheldon, IA. Larger tanks ship by freight.
