A 3/4 inch Corzan CPVC thread fitting with a Viton gasket, for Snyder tanks
Part number 34700751 is Snyder Industries' 3/4 inch thread fitting, moulded in Corzan CPVC with a Viton gasket, socket on one side and thread on the other. It is the port that turns a plain tank wall into a connection: the body goes through the wall, the gasket seals it, the socket side takes solvent-welded CPVC pipe and the threaded side takes a valve or an adapter. CPVC and Viton are the choice when polypropylene and a standard gasket are not enough for the liquid or the temperature. The fitting body is 2.75 inches across and 3.44 inches tall, weighs 4 lb packed, and ships in a small carton by UPS. The 3/4 inch size is the one figure the rest of your plumbing has to match.

What to check before you buy
- The size. 3/4 inch. Match it to the pipe and the valve you already have, or size the whole run first with our fitting and outlet sizing decision tree. A 3/4 inch port is a feed or a dosing connection, not a drain for a large tank.
- The liquid. Check your liquid against both CPVC and Viton, and ask us if it is not on the list; we would rather confirm it with Snyder than guess.
- The tank. The fitting needs a flat area of wall at least as wide as its flange so the gasket seals all the way round. Tell us the tank part number and we confirm the fit before it ships.

Installing it
Dry-fit first. Set the fitting in the hole, turn it so the connection points where the pipe will run, and only then tighten. Hand tight plus a quarter turn with a wrench; over-tightening distorts the gasket and is the usual cause of a weep. Use a CPVC-rated solvent cement on the socket side, never a PVC-only cement. Support the first length of pipe on its own so the tank wall carries liquid, not hardware. Fill with water the first time and look at the joint before product goes in.
