The chemicals below are within that SG rating for XLPE; always confirm against the OEM chemical-resistance chart, which is concentration- and temperature-specific, before placing anything in service. At 1.5 SG with EPDM gaskets and the noted wetted fitting materials, this tank suits acetic acid (60%, PP/PVC fittings, EPDM), aluminum sulfate (50%, PVC, EPDM), calcium chloride (40%, PVC, EPDM), DEF (32.5%), ferrous sulfate (20%, PVC, EPDM), magnesium chloride (30%, PVC, EPDM), sodium carbonate (30%, PVC, EPDM), urea solution (50%, PP/PVC, EPDM), and ozonated water (PVC fittings, EPDM, to a hard maximum of 10 PPM). One spec note for the diesel exhaust fluid crowd: DEF at 32.5% and the matching urea solution call for 316 stainless wetted fittings, not the PVC most of the other chemicals use, so spec your outlet, valve, and bulkhead hardware in 316SS before you plumb it.
Several chemicals are out of range for a 1.5 SG tank and need the heavier 1.9 SG XLPE construction instead: ethylene glycol, ferric chloride, ferric sulfate, hydrofluosilicic acid, polyaluminum chloride, potassium carbonate, potassium hydroxide, propylene glycol, and sodium thiosulfate. Those eight take EPDM gaskets with the single exception of hydrofluosilicic acid, which requires Viton, so do not default to EPDM on that service. The mistake to avoid
