Fittings and plumbing
Per the technical drawing on this page, the tank comes configured with a 3/4-inch bulkhead tap (polypropylene body, EPDM gasket) for draw-off, a 3-inch outlet-and-overflow kit to route excess water away from the base during heavy storms, and two blank molded flats (an 8-inch-by-7-inch and an 8-inch-by-6-inch pad) for adding an inlet, screen, or first-flush connection. The EPDM seal on the bulkhead is the right elastomer for rainwater service and stands up to UV and ozone, but note it is the only sealed penetration supplied, so any fitting you add to the two blank flats needs its own gasket spec'd for water service. The mistake to avoid
