Ronco Plastics RV3W - 14 Gallon Plastic RV Water Tank (29.75" x 13.875" x 8.125")

Ronco molds the 14-gallon fresh water tank in three distinct bodies, and the RV3W is the slender one: 29.75 x 13.88 x 8.12 inches, sized for the narrow gap between a wheel well and a cabinet base where its wider siblings will not fit. Under 14 inches across, it threads spaces that read as dead on most floor plans.

Its competition inside the family tells the story. The RV37W runs the same capacity at 29.75 x 16 x 7.5 inches - wider and slightly flatter - while the RV11W turns 14 gallons vertical at 21 x 13 x 13 inches for locker installs. As an L.D. molding this is Ronco's potable spec: FDA-compliant natural polyethylene, translucent wall for at-a-glance level checks. It weighs 9 lb empty and about 117 lb full - water is 8.34 lb per gallon, and it adds up faster than most first-time builders expect, so mount to frame or floor structure.

Want to place the fittings yourself? Choose the blank tank: it ships with no fittings at no charge. Add the 90-2218 fitting kit ($55.75). It includes an access plate with six stainless steel screws, washers and nuts to mount it, a 1-1/2" NPT plug, two 1/2" NPT plugs, two 5/8" thru-hull fittings for supply and vent, and one 1-1/2" thru-hull fitting for fill.
