Drinking water has its own rules, and the RV57W is built to them: Ronco's L.D. potable specification - FDA-compliant natural polyethylene throughout, molded with a translucent wall - listed on the maker sheet as "57W L.D. (20 GAL) 32X16 1/2X10". Twenty gallons is the capacity where a couple's rig graduates from filling jugs to running a real pressurized fresh system.
Its 32 x 16.5 x 10 inch body is the balanced middle of Ronco's three-way 20-gallon split - not as narrow as one sibling, not as flat as the other, and the easiest of the three to fit when your bay is simply rectangular. Empty it is 18 lb; full it is about 167 lb, and the translucent wall lets you verify the level at a glance during fills.
