The Enduraplas 10000 Gallon White Cone Bottom Tank with Stand (SKU THC10000KW) is a cone-bottom vessel built for gravity draw-down in continuous chemical storage and batch processing. Molded from polyethylene in natural white with a 1.9 specific gravity rating, it stands 202 inches tall on a 144-inch diameter footprint, comes fitted with a 3" PP female NPT bulkhead outlet at the cone tip and a 16" threaded vented manway up top, and carries an FDA-approved compliance mark. Empty weight is 2,050 lb, so the cone body plus its supporting stand arrives as a substantial freight piece. See the technical drawing on this page for the cone angle your draw-down completeness depends on.
Will it hold what you're putting in it
The 1.9 SG rating is what lets this tank carry dense chemistries, not just water — and 1.9 is the maximum SG rating offered in this size, so there is no denser-rated option to step up to. Filled with water the contents weigh 83,400 lb; at the full 1.9 rating the tank is engineered for up to 158,460 lb of contents. That spread is exactly why specific gravity is the number to check first: pick your product's SG off its SDS and confirm it sits at or below 1.9 before you order. The 16" vented manway matters too — it keeps the tank from pulling a vacuum as the cone drains, which is a real failure mode on sealed cone tanks. Use the Tank Sizing Calculator and Tank Sizing Guide to confirm the 10000 gallon working volume against your fill-and-draw cycle.
Chemical compatibility
This is a polyethylene tank rated to 1.9 SG. Its resin is recorded as HDLPE but unconfirmed — confirm HDLPE versus XLPE with us before committing it to chemical service, since crosslink density changes what it tolerates. The compatibility data below comes from the Snyder Industries OEM chemical-resistance chart (concentration- and temperature-specific) applied as a reference to this Enduraplas vessel, so treat it as directional until we confirm resin and the maker's own chart. At this tank's rating the following are compatible when you pair the right fitting and gasket: Ethylene Glycol (100%, PVC/EPDM), Ferric Chloride (50%, PVC/EPDM), Hydrochloric Acid (37%, PVC/Viton), Phosphoric Acid (85%, PVC/Viton), Sodium Hypochlorite (<16.5%, PVC/Viton), Sulfuric Acid (98%, CPVC/Viton), Hydrogen Peroxide (50%, PVC/Viton), Peracetic Acid (30%, 316SS/Aflas), Potassium Hydroxide (saturated, PVC/EPDM) and Ferric Sulfate (60%, PVC/EPDM), among others. Lower-SG-approved products the tank also handles include DEF (32.5%, 316SS/EPDM), Urea Solution (50%), Calcium Chloride (40%), Sodium Carbonate (30%) and Aluminum Sulfate (50%).
Match the fitting and gasket to the chemical, not to the stock outlet. The tank's supplied 3" PP female NPT bulkhead with an EPDM gasket covers the salts and glycols — calcium chloride, sodium carbonate, aluminum sulfate, ethylene glycol. But the acids need upgrades the stock PP outlet does not meet: sulfuric acid needs CPVC with Viton, every other listed acid needs a Viton gasket, and DEF and peracetic acid require 316SS stainless wetted metal. DEF in particular is a common order that fails on fittings — its 32.5% urea solution wants 316SS, not the PP bulkhead. Spec the fitting and gasket package before you order, and use the full Chemical Compatibility Database to match concentration and temperature to your exact chemical.
The stand is part of the buying decision
A 10000-gallon cone puts its entire loaded weight onto the stand, so the frame choice is not an afterthought. Read our steel-frame versus polyethylene stand decision tree and the stand compatibility matrix for Norwesco, Snyder, and Enduraplas before you finalize — matching the cone geometry to the right stand is the mistake most buyers only catch after delivery. See the technical drawing on this page for the dimensions your pad and anchoring need to accommodate.
