The Enduraplas 3200 Gallon Green Cone Bottom Tank with Stand (SKU THC03200KG) is a full-drain vessel built for batching, mixing, and chemical dosing where you need the tank to empty completely. It pairs a 3200-gallon green polyethylene cone-bottom tank with a support stand, and it ships rated for demanding contents with a 1.9 specific gravity rating molded into the wall thickness. Green resin cuts light transmission to slow algae and UV degradation, which matters for treatment chemicals and long-dwell storage.

Will it work for your application

This tank stands 126 inches tall on a 110-inch diameter footprint and weighs 1,545 pounds empty. The cone-bottom geometry drains through a 3" PP female NPT bulkhead fitting at the tip, and you access the top through a 16" threaded vented manway. The vent is not optional on a cone tank filled or emptied under flow, so keep it clear. Full of water this tank carries roughly 26,688 pounds; at its 1.9 SG rating it is engineered to hold up to about 50,707 pounds of contents. Enduraplas lists this unit as FDA approved. To confirm your liquid volume against tank height and drawdown, run the numbers through our Tank Sizing Calculator and Tank Sizing Guide. Full geometry and fitting placement are on the technical drawing on this page.

Chemical compatibility

This is a polyethylene tank; the resin is recorded as HDLPE but the grade carries a question mark, so confirm HDLPE versus XLPE with us before you commit it to chemical service. At 1.9 specific gravity this is the highest density rating offered in polyethylene, so there is no heavier-rated poly tank to step up to. That rating is a density ceiling, not a blanket compatibility promise. The 28 chemicals below are verified compatible at this tank's 1.9 SG rating per the Snyder Industries OEM chemical resistance chart, which is concentration and temperature specific, so match your exact chemical, concentration, temperature, fitting, and gasket before ordering.

Read the gasket and fitting call-outs carefully: sodium hypochlorite and the strong acids need Viton, not EPDM, and DEF and peracetic acid want 316SS wetted metal. Verify every combination against the full Chemical Compatibility Database before you dose.

The mistake to avoid

The costliest error on a cone-bottom chem tank is the gasket and fitting metal, not the tank. The 3" PP bulkhead at the cone tip is your only drain, and pairing it with the wrong elastomer — EPDM where the chart calls for Viton on hypochlorite or the strong acids — is what fails first and leaks last. The stock 3" PP bulkhead is fine for storage, but DEF and peracetic-acid dispensing call for 316SS wetted metal per the chart, so confirm fitting material when you order. Note too that DEF and urea only require a 1.35 SG tank, meaning this 1.9-rated vessel is well over-spec for them. On the foundation: size the pad and stand for the fully-loaded max of about 50,707 pounds at 1.9 SG, versus 26,688 pounds on water, because the cone concentrates that load on the stand ring. Confirm resin grade (HDLPE vs XLPE), match fitting and gasket to your exact chemical and concentration, and set a level, rated base before delivery. Our stand selection decision tree and Enduraplas stand compatibility matrix walk through those choices.
