Norwesco 1250 Gallon Hauling Water Storage Tank with Low Profile Design in White

On a truck, a trailer or as a low reservoir

At 130 by 81 inches the tank covers most of a flatbed or a gooseneck deck, and at 38 inches tall it is the lowest way to carry this much water. Full, it is close to 10425 lb, so the truck's or trailer's axle, tire and tongue ratings decide whether it can be hauled full; many rigs carry it part full. Support the whole base, not the ends: the tank needs a flat, continuous deck or pad under it, and anything that lets the middle sag or a corner hang in the air puts the load on the wall. Strap it in every direction the vehicle can move, never over the manway. What goes in it

Water is the job this tank was shaped for: hauling to stock, a construction site, a dust control rig or a remote house, and holding rainwater or a reserve at rest. Liquid fertilizer and the common farm chemicals that polyethylene handles also fit inside the 1.5 rating; check anything other than water in our chemical compatibility guide before the first fill. Openings and fittings

1. Outlet. A 2 inch polypropylene female NPT bulkhead fitting, factory installed. A 2 inch ball valve, camlock or pump suction adapter threads straight into it. Support the valve and the first length of hose so the fitting carries liquid, not hardware.
2. Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top, wide enough to fill from a hydrant hose or a pump, to drop a float in, and to get a hand and a brush inside. The vent lets the tank breathe as it fills and drains, which matters more on a hauling tank that is filled and emptied fast; never plug it.
