A 50 gallon ribbed pest control operator tank from Albertville, Alabama
The Norwesco 50 gallon ribbed pest control operator tank, part number 45618, is a white polyethylene tank 38 inches long, 19 inches wide and 23 inches tall, weighing 26 lb empty. It is new on Norwesco's 2026 sheet and built in Albertville, Alabama; the same size ribbed tank from Griffin, Georgia and Lancaster, Ohio is part 42834. Pest control operator means it is sized and shaped for a service route: a day's mix for a technician, in a low shell that rides in a truck bed or a service body, standing on its own molded legs. It has an 8 inch threaded vented lid on top and no outlet fitting, so the suction take-off goes where your pump needs it. Norwesco rates it for liquids up to 1.5 specific gravity; 50 gallons of water weighs about 417 lb. The service limit is 120 F, and Norwesco backs it with a 3 year limited warranty.

Where it goes
On a pest control or lawn care truck, in a skid sprayer frame on a utility vehicle, or on a bench in the shop as the mix station that fills hand sprayers. On a vehicle, bolt it down or strap it to the bed; 417 lb of water on the move shifts anything that is not tied down. Check the 23 inch height under a tonneau cover or a cap before you order.
What goes in it
Water with pesticide, herbicide, termiticide or liquid fertilizer concentrate, mixed per the product label. Polyethylene handles these mixes well; check anything unusual in our chemical compatibility guide. Liquids heavier than 1.5 times water are outside the rating.
Openings and fittings
- Lid. An 8 inch threaded vented lid on top: pour from a jug, fill from a hose, get a hand in to clean.
- Suction take-off. Norwesco ships this tank with no outlet fitting. Tell us where the pump suction will come off and we confirm the bulkhead fitting to add.
