Where this tank goes

On a pest control truck, a lawn and tree care rig, a pressure washing trailer or a skid sprayer, in the spot where the operator fills and mixes every morning. The 16 inch opening is the reason to choose it over the 8 inch lid version linked below: a measured jug of concentrate goes in without a funnel, a stuck float or a dropped cap comes back out, and a tank that held one product can be washed properly before it holds another. Two hundred gallons in a 48 by 37 inch plan is a dense load: full, the tank puts 1668 lb of water onto about twelve square feet of bed, which is nothing for a concrete floor and a real point load for a timber deck, a trailer or a half ton pickup. Work out the vehicle's payload before the tank arrives rather than after it is full. The bed under the tank must be flat across the whole footprint, and the tank straps through a frame or a cradle, never over the manway. Polyethylene handles water and the termiticides, insecticides and herbicides that go through these rigs at use concentration; confirm anything concentrated or solvent based against the material before you order. Openings and fittings

1. Manway. A 16 inch threaded vented manway on top. It needs clear air above it to open squarely, so set the hose reel and the pump plate beside it, not over it. Keep the vent clear; a sealed tank starves the pump.
2. Outlet. No fitting is listed with this tank. Most rig builders drill and fit their own bulkhead where the plumbing wants it; tell us the size and the position you need and we will confirm what is available and what you fit yourself.
3. Height. At 37 inches the top is at working height, and the tank is as tall as it is wide, so it wants a cradle or a frame that holds the base, not just straps over the top.
